About Lisa Detanna

A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Lisa Detanna earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and business. After graduating from Pepperdine University with an MBA in business, she launched her career in finance with the Capital Markets Group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Subsequently, Lisa Detanna rose to her first executive position with Imperial Capital, where she served as senior vice president for over eight years.

In 1998, Md. Detanna accepted a position as senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. There, she worked in private wealth management, developing her skills in areas ranging from banking and lending to estate and trust review. She then worked briefly with Wedbush Investment Management before joining Raymond James, where she has served as the senior vice president of investments and managing director since 2011.

Alongside her career, Lisa Detanna enjoys gardening, restoring properties in Palm Desert, practicing yoga, and raising her pet 33-year-old tortoises. She also places high value on time spent with her family.
